Let your kids be uncomfortable! Discomfort is how we grow and learn. The world is not always a comfortable place and the best time and opportunity for kids to learn are when they are supported by a parent. But if you’re an adult who rescues them or reduces their discomfort, your kids are going to struggle. Learn the difference between healthy and essential discomfort versus damaging or dangerous situations. Love your kids enough to let them hurt sometimes. Love them enough to know what is safe growth.
