Alumni Spotlight
Malia Lackey completed the Pre-educator pathway at WHHS and was a member of FCCLA. Currently, she's a junior at Arkansas Tech University, majoring in elementary education. Malia is on the President’s List with all A’s and after graduating she plans to pursue a master’s degree in education to become an Instructional Technology Library Specialist for K-12. She also received the Arkansas Teacher Academy Scholarship.

Alumni Spotlight- Kassidy Huneycutt
Kassidy was a completer in Pre Educator pathway at WHHS and a member of FCCLA.
Today Kassidy is part of the : UAM Dean's List, and an Elementary Education Major, Graduating a year early, and received the Arkansas Teaching Scholarship.

Homecoming is October 2nd!!!

The WHHS homecoming shirt proceeds go towards WHHS FCCLA! S-XL are $20, 2XL are $22 and 3XL-5XL are $24. We expect arrival mid September as Homecoming is October 2nd. Pre-Order Deadline is September 3rd, you may pay ahead of time.

Student Spotlight!
This summer, Raylee Pye joined the Arkansas River ESC Breakout Bonanza STEM Camp. She supported 5th–8th grade students as they imagined, designed, and built their own interactive escape room experiences.

Throughout the camp, she helped guide students as they developed creative puzzles, explored hands-on STEM concepts, and worked together to solve challenges. She encouraged campers to think critically, collaborate with their teammates, and confidently share their finished projects at the end of the program.

Raylee is a member of FCCLA and will begin the Pre-Educator program at White Hall High School, taking another step toward her goal of becoming a teacher

Student Spotlight *Kasey Lovelady*
Kasey is a student in our Pre-Educator program. This summer she worked at the Arkansas River ESC for their Breakout Bonanza STEM Camp, where she served as an instructor. She helped students learn about the creativity and problem-solving behind escape rooms. Where campers explored how to incorporate puzzles, technology, and hands-on building into their designs while working together in groups to create their own escape rooms. Throughout the weeks, she encouraged teamwork, creative thinking, and collaboration as students brought their ideas to life and proudly presented their finished projects.
