To infinity and beyond at All the Toys week at West Hill CC Summer Sack Lunch!

The Skyway Rec Aides kicked off the week with DIY Forky and
Slinky Paper Crafts at both West Hill CC and at Skyway Park. You can catch the Skyway Rec Aides (and several toy inspired crafts) at multiple sites all week. The current Toy inspired Craft Schedule:

The Annual King County Parks Night Out Against Crime Family event is back and bigger than ever!

TUESDAY, AUGUST 4th
Steve Cox Memorial Park (1321 SW 102nd st 98146)

6-7 PM: Foam Party hosted by KCLS
6-8 PM: Carnival Games, Garden Scavenger Hunt, Arts & Crafts,
Hot Dogs & Ice Cream Treats, Pinatas, and Soccer
8-9 PM: Stadium Opens for Movie Seating
9ish PM: King County Big Backyard Movie ZOOTOPIA 2

The WC Teen Program and King County Parks are thrilled to host families for a Zootopia 2 themed evening of fun at Steve Cox Memorial Park (1321 SW 102nd St 98146.)

This year’s activities will start at 6pm and feature animal themed carnival games, crafts, pinatas, and a foam party courtesy of the King County Library System. Hotdogs and ice cream treats will be on hand (while supplies last.)

At 8pm the Mel Olsen Stadium gates open for seating for King County Parks Big Backyard Movie: Zootopia 2. (The movie begins at dusk.)

Confirmed guests of honor include North Highline Fire Department, King County Parks Patrol, the WC KCSO Storefront, White Center Librarians, Dept. of Local Services, and an entire Zootopia full of White Center Teen Program Recreation Aides.

Night Out at SCMP is once again sponsored by the teens and staff of the White Center Teen Program. The WCTP offers free recreational, educational, and social enrichment programming to youth ages 12-19 every Tuesday – Saturday from 3-8pm. www.WCTeenProgram.org

The WHCC Summer Sack Lunch Program will be busy all week with Sponge Bob, Bluey, TMNT, Cars, and Mickey Mouse themed crafts, games, stories and activities including:

We're so excited we almost can't stand it . . . Archaeology in the Park returns to West Hill CC in Skyway TODAY from 12:30 - 2pm! We always learn so much from Brandy and Gary and bonus - they let you touch the artifacts! Head over to Dimmitt Middle School and look for us by the Big Yellow Arch.

The Skyway Rec Aides have been busy all week with nature themed crafts including beaded caterpillars, butterfly kites, and leaf print bookmarks! Tuesday also included pixel art at the Skyway Library and today the King County Parks Archaeology team of Brandy and Gary are hosting Archaeology in the Park at West Hill CC from 12:30-2pm!

The Skyway Rec Aides kicked off the week with Soccer Kites and Ball in a cup games at WHCC, rock painting at Skyway Library, and snacks and grab and go art kits at Skyway Park. You can catch the Skyway Rec Aides (and several colorful crafts) at multiple sites all week:
