Our Lake Area Discovery Center Site Directors put their teamwork, creativity, and balancing skills to the test with a hilarious Minute to Win It challenge: stacking as many cups as possible on one brave teammate!

There were plenty of laughs, lots of encouragement, and some seriously impressive cup-stacking strategies. Moments like these help strengthen the connections behind the scenes so our leaders can continue supporting their teams, children, and families with joy.

Our students at Community of Grace, Faithful Shepherd, and Hosanna had so much fun celebrating the Fourth of July with festive activities, patriotic crafts, outdoor fun, and lots of red, white, and blue! ❤️🤍💙

From painting and sensory play to flags, sunglasses, and cheerful classroom celebrations, our little learners enjoyed a week full of creativity, movement, and summer joy. We love seeing their excitement shine as they learn, play, and celebrate together! 🌟

🎓✨ Celebrating Our Kinderstart Graduates! ✨🎓

What a special season of celebration across our LADC sites as our Kinderstart students graduate and prepare for their next big adventure — kindergarten! 💛

These children have grown so much this year in confidence, independence, faith, friendship, and joy. We are so proud of all they have learned and the wonderful little people God created them to be. 🌟

During their graduation ceremonies, each child received a special blessing as they were sent off with love, encouragement, and prayers for the journey ahead. We pray they always remember that God goes with them wherever they go, lighting their path and surrounding them with His love. ✝️

Each graduate also received a beautiful portfolio created by their teachers — a keepsake filled with memories, artwork, and moments from their year. What a precious gift to look back on and remember this important chapter. 📚❤️

☀️🎉 End-of-the-Year Fun at LADC! 🎉☀️

As the school year winds down, our LADC sites have been busy celebrating with some extra-special fun!

Students at Faithful Shepherd and Faith Lutheran enjoyed splashy smiles during Water Day 💦 and zoomed into fun for Bike Day 🚲. Our friends at Faithful Shepherd, Grace Lutheran, and Notre Dame Academy also showed off their energy and teamwork during Track & Field Day with races, games, parachute play, and lots of cheering! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

At Redeemer Lutheran, students welcomed Brian Richards for an exciting in-house field trip all about insects — bringing curiosity, questions, and hands-on learning right to school! 🐞🦋

From bubbles and bikes to field games and fascinating bugs, these moments are such a joyful way to celebrate a year full of learning, friendship, and growth. 💛

💛🤝 Connecting Generations at Grace Lutheran Church of Apple Valley 🤝💛

Our Grace Lutheran Pre-K class had a blast spending time with the seniors! The children started by singing two favorite songs — Days of the Week and Months of the Year 🎶 — and then everyone jumped into hands-on fun together.

Using their imaginations, children and seniors built creations with LEGOs, Magna-Tiles, and Tinker Toys — and yes, the seniors played too! 🧱✨

The room was full of smiles, creativity, and lots of wonderful conversation between students and adults. Moments like these are such a beautiful reminder of the joy that comes from bringing generations together. ❤️

We can’t wait to do it again in June!
