Century College Theatre will be producing A Chorus Line this fall! See the Minnesota Playlist post for details. Auditions are open to community actors as well as Century students. Our Concert Band and Chamber Orchestra played to packed houses at their November concerts! Thanks to everyone who attended and to St. Mark's Lutheran Church in North St. Paul and White Bear Unitarian Universalist Church in Mahtomedi for hosting our ensembles.

Changes are coming to our Music AFA and music courses at Century in 2024-25! Fundamentals of Music is now Music Theory 1, and the upper-level Music Theory and Ear Training courses are now combined. Songwriting is back in 2024-25, and a brand new course in Music Technology is coming in Spring 2025. Check out details in the catalog and at the link below. See you in the fall! 🎵

It's concert day at Century! At 2pm come hear the Century Chamber Orchestra, conducted by Elliot Wilcox in his final concert before his retirement. Five guest soloists will perform, including violinist Kai-Li Cheng and Century music faculty members Julia Elkina Ehrlich and Jocelyn Kalajian.

At 7:30pm the Century College Concert Band (conducted by Charlie Preis) performs their final concert of the year, featuring Johan de Meij's Lord of the Rings and many other band favorites.

Both concerts are in the West Campus Theatre and are free and open to the public. See you there! 🎵

Congratulations to Century Music AFA student Alec Rechtiene on the premiere of his prizewinning band composition, Prelude on the Theme of Dies Irae, at the MMEA - Minnesota Music Educators Association Midwinter Convention on Sat. Feb. 18! We are very proud of Alec for this well-deserved honor! 🎶
