Our classmate Alisha (Svoboda) Bauer is battling breast cancer. A live benefit will held on her behalf on October 13 from 11-3 at Mancini’s Char house.

Alisha wanted to share that October is breast cancer awareness month and she wants everyone to stay healthy and get checked. She has no family history of any cancer and was diagnosed on her very first mammogram. She’s now spreading awareness everywhere she can.

Congrats to our classmate Laura "Stypulkowski" Kramer on being inducted into the Gustavus Athletics Hall of Fame! Styp as we all likely knew her, was a two-time All-Conference selection and earned All-America honors her senior season. She still ranks second in program history with 82 career assists and third with 135 points. She helped the Gusties capture two MIAC titles and two third-place finishes at the NCAA Championships.

Congrats!

A huge thank you to the 140 of you show showed up Saturday night... and what a night! So many receipts for the raffle, supporting local businesses. Most of you never made it halfway into the Armory, just started talking with classmates as soon you arrived, and stood around chatting for three hours. So many fun conversations with people we haven't seen in 10 or 20 years. That night was needed and felt good to be around the people who shaped us.

Safe travels to you out-of-staters. Thanks for making the trek. It was really a perfect night, seeing the smiles, hugs and laughter. Full hearts all around.

Online ticket sales are done, but you can still show up Saturday night. $30 at the door. Food. Drinks. Fun. Grab dinner in White Bear, support some local businesses, come to the Armory from 7-10, then head back out to local businesses to continue the night. Make sure to bring your receipts for great raffle prizes from local businesses. Looking forward to seeing you all!
