A new bill would remove a longstanding requirement for school district referendums to include clear ballot language for voters.

Urgent Need for Accountability on “Building Our Future" Bond Referendum

Why has the spending for construction exceeded the original ask by nearly 50%? The bond was passed at $326 million yet Kraus-Anderson published the project at a price tag of $463 million.

Taxpayers were told we needed more space in our schools, but we are building empty classrooms. Enrollment is continuing to decrease, and the financial projections are expecting decreased enrollment for at least a few more years.
