Negroni season has officially begun!! The refreshing and nuanced flavors of the Negroni pair perfectly well with the first warm and sunny days of Spring! The great thing about is that you can tweak it infinite ways. It consists of three liquors and the essential oils of an orange. The three parts: gin, red bitter (typically Campari) and vermouth. The botanical juniper uplifting flavor of gin complemented by the bittersweet flavor of Campari or better yet and vermouth please the palate the ways over. The endless versatility of this fine libation lies in the many many different combinations of different gins, vermouths and (lesser of a variety) red bitter liqueur. Today I’m in joying with from NJ bought at the , and one of my favorite vermouths finished with the generous squeeze of a Florida orange. The other wonderful thing about the versatility of the Negroni is the amount of each liquor you use or even lessening it’s intensity as a spritzer by adding some sparkling mineral water.
