Alright everyone, you got the call and now it’s official: it’s our FINAL remote day!

✅ Get the work done. Young kids, finish up your packet, and older kids, make sure to log on.

✅ Once you finish any packet or posted work, take today to get caught up! Missing work? Finish it. Behind on a project? Tackle it.

✅ Contact your teachers. Behind? Confused? Just want to say hey? Message us through Schoology or whatever app you use for communication.

✅ Nutrition services are available today with the new location of Oglebay Village added.

It's the most WONDERFUL (and musically, the busiest) time of the year!

Wheeling Middle School kicked off our holiday music with a STUNNING Veterans Day assembly, and Elm Grove Elementary continues this evening with Woodsdale Elementary School, Bethlehem Elementary School, and Middle Creek Elementary scheduled for later this week!

With 14 schools and 14 phenomenal music programs, we know it can be a lot to remember! We hope this graphic helps!

PAC stands for the JB Chambers Performing Arts Center at Wheeling Park High School.

Thank you for supporting the , and thank you to the teachers, volunteer parents, and administrators who work tirelelessly to make sure our kids have opportunities like these!

Military Monument Update:

Thank you to the The Intelligencer / Wheeling News-Register for sharing last week!

We are excited to unveil our Military Monument during Veterans Day celebrations. Through our outreach efforts, we have identified 191 names of Veteran and active duty Wheeling Park High School alumni to add to the monument.

We know there are people we missed, and every spring, we will continue to further our outreach efforts and identify more Patriots (and recent enlistments) for proper recognition.

Scheduled for TUESDAY 11/12 from 11-12, this event will be open for the family members of those being honored.

If you are unable to attend the unveiling, please feel free to visit the monument outside of school hours at your earliest convenience.

Thank you to the WPHS Band for graciously sharing their musical talents on this special day.

Another year of robotics is upon us! Our robotics teams start competing in two weeks, but registration opened this past Wednesday for the second year of our signature event "Gateway to the West"! I am blown away at the number of teams already registered for the event!

Our middle school event currently has 53 teams registered from 7 states plus Canada! Our high school event has 80 teams registered from 14 states, Washington D.C., and Canada! We are beyond excited to host this event!

If you would like to help support our event there are numerous ways to do so. One way is to volunteer your time in a number of roles. Volunteer signups can be seen at the following links:

This is a tremendous opportunity to show off West Virginia and our local region, and I'm beyond proud to be able to organize and run this event with an amazing team!
