We know Buster the Bus is a favorite of our littles, but what about the life size version?

Starting Wednesday, 8/26, about 3,000 Ohio County students will be transported to and from school and activities by our phenomenal drivers at Operations at Ohio County Schools.

Read on for some important reminders about what YOU need to know as a driver in WV when you see a school bus!

🔴 Stop when a school bus has stopped and its flashing warning lights are activated. Do not pass until the bus moves, the driver signals you to proceed, or the lights are no longer activated.

🛑 Stop for the bus from either direction.

🚗 The rule applies beyond just public streets. It also applies in parking lots, private roads, driveways and other places where a bus is loading or unloading students.

📹 School bus cameras have the ability to record and document as well as share that information with law enforcement.

👀 Slow down and stay alert around bus stops. Children may be crossing the road, walking along the shoulder, or moving unpredictably.

‼️BREAKING NEWS‼️ Rylan Moore runs 15:50 at our first meet of the season to become the fastest Junior, and 2nd fastest XC runner, in school history!!

Award winners today include Brenna Tipton with a 2nd place finish and Rylan Moore in 4th. Shoutout Jake Breitinger who ran a huge 30 second PR!’ GO PARK ♥️💙
