Tonight, volleyball took center stage at Monarch Bound, and it was an extra special evening as we celebrated our amazing 8th graders! 🎓❤️

🏐 JV – Kept us on the edge of our seats with an exciting THREE-set victory! 🔥👏
🏐 Varsity – Finished the night strong with a TWO-set WIN! 💥

🏆🐏 GETZ IT DONE — SEPTEMBER ATHLETES OF THE MONTH! 🐏🏆
🎉 Congratulations to Ansley Wallace and Lane Kennedy, our September Getz It Done Athletes of the Month!
On Thursday, we had the pleasure of recognizing these two outstanding Sherrard student-athletes for their hard work, dedication, and RAM PRIDE! ❤️🐏
🏅 Each winner received a certificate, a special Getz It Done shirt, and a gift card!
💪 What does it mean to GETZ IT DONE?
This award is about SO MUCH MORE than scoring the most points, making the biggest play, or winning the game!
🏆 Our coaches nominate athletes who demonstrate:
🐏 RAM Pride — Representing Sherrard with pride on and off the court or field.
🤝 Teamwork — Encouraging teammates, putting the team first, and lifting others up.
💪 Work Ethic — Giving 1000% at practices, competitions, and in the classroom.
👏 Sportsmanship — Showing respect for teammates, coaches, opponents, and officials.
😊 Positive Attitude — Facing challenges with determination and a great attitude.
⭐ Leadership & Character — Leading by example and making a positive impact on others.
📚 But it doesn't stop with athletics! Our teachers also have a voice in selecting our winners! They vote for the student-athletes who carry those same qualities into the classroom and throughout our school.
