Please help us give a warm welcome to the newest addition to our training and rental fleet! N50541 is a nimble little Cessna 150J, perfect for learning the basics, time building, or just enjoying the view. The 150 is an excellent option for those seeking flight training at a more economical cost as well, all while sporting a modern, IFR-capable avionics package. Shout out to our stellar in-house maintenance team who poured their hearts and souls into this project to make sure it meets our high safety standards for all of our students, instructors, and renters. Don’t have to shell out for fuel if you don’t have an engine 🧐

Kidding aside, our beloved N6265T gets a fresh new engine this week, and our maintenance crew made quick work removing the old one from its mounts and connections. We are so thankful to have such a diligent team looking after our fleet each and every day, working to ensure our students, instructors, and renters have access to the safest and best maintained airplanes in Chicagoland!

Our owner, Dan Wirt, his wife Jordan Newmark Wirt and new mechanic Hector took a journey to Memphis, TN to bring these little sweeties to their new foster with Woof Pack Rescue. They started their journey in Houston, TX and are now safe and loved.

Yesterday’s puppy run for was pure, adorable chaos — we loved it! 5 dogs, 4 of them puppies just a couple months old, were safely delivered to their foster home in Wisconsin by Dan, Nick and Beth in the Baron. Their last leg of a long trip up from Texas was completed in comfort and style! One of them even got to take a turn sitting up front during cruise (of course acting as pilot monitoring 😉). Never a dull moment!

Another Pilots N Paws flight in the books! Dan, Ben, and friend/dog trainer Conner picked up Hazel in Sheboygan, WI this morning and brought her to her foster home in Rochelle, IL. Hazel is a 4 month old Chesapeake Bay Retriever and couldn’t be happier to have earned her wings today on the way to her new family.
