Friday night highlights from week #3

Worship for Chapel this week was led by Matt and Aubrie again, and Pastor Aaron brought us the message along with the help of a few “enthusiastic” volunteer/voluntold students. He reminded us about the importance of us forgiving others out of love for the forgiveness we’ve received from Jesus.

And, we’ve shared so many active learning opportunities—Jeopardy, spelling bee (with a sparkly pink microphone), Froot Loops states of matter, PE and Music class with Ms. Holsinger and Mrs. Scaff, etc., etc., etc. Our students are so blessed with the teachers they have who give and serve and sacrifice daily to teach them things like math and reading, but also how to be more like Jesus as they interact with friends, clean up after themselves, and walk through their everyday. There’s no place quite like LCA! 🩵✝️🩵

Week-In-Review #2
Monday started with Chapel where Matt and Aubrie led worship and Pastor Jason shared a message. He reminded us that we sometimes have to fight against our natural tendency to carry fear, worry, and comparison with us everywhere we go like a heavy backpack. Those things weigh us down and hold us back from being everything God created us to be. We’re much better when we put on humility and instead take those things to Jesus. We’re so thankful that we get to start our week with such sweet reminders…and with little ones who can’t even reach the microphone who aren’t afraid to open us up in prayer! 🥰

We’re also extra thankful for Aubrie setting up her coffee bar last week for teachers…and for the excitement of knowing that’s going to keep happening!!! Our new LCA motto—Coffee in our hands, Jesus in our hearts! 🤎☕️🥤

Peep the big yellow bus that drops off and picks up a few of our kiddos every morning and afternoon! And, LOOK AT all the fun we had in classes this week! We have the best teachers—dedicated to serve their students and ultimately Jesus in the way they give of themselves each day.

We’ve had the best time being back in session this week! Families, one of your kiddos has opened us up in prayer every day this week…in front of the whole school!!! We’ve shouted out so many students for above-and-beyond behavior! And, our teachers are working so hard on establishing good habits and laying the foundation to teach your babies! Thank you for sharing your kiddos with us! We’re looking forward to 35 more weeks just as good as this one! Here it is in picture form…📸

📚✨ The first day of school is underway! ✨📚
What a blessing it was to gather together for our very first chapel service of the year! We are so thankful for all the new faces joining our Legacy family and for the familiar friends who make our school community so special. ❤️
We are praying for a wonderful school year filled with growth, learning, friendships, and—most importantly—opportunities to grow closer to Christ.
