Wheeler High School Graduates; Wheeler, MS

Wanted to share this with fellow School mates that Angelia Parker Livingston passed away this afternoon. My heart hurts. I've thought of her often in recent months but never reached out to her.

Y'all, so many of us still live in this general area of North Mississippi, but our busy lives keep us from slowing down enough to reach out to one another.

Send an old friend a message.Just let them know you still think of them now and then, while it's not too late.

For those of you who graduated around 1969 or 1970, you probably remember Kerry (K-boy) Saylors. He was my youngest uncle and drove the school bus when I started first grade…his senior year.

K-boy passed away this past Saturday, August 21. Please keep his family in your prayers. His wife is Elizabeth (Libba)Saylors, and his youngest daughter is Laura Saylors Gibson. They are both on Facebook if you’d like to share a story or at least give your condolences. Or maybe you’d like to share stories here on this page. Just let folks know.

Are there any other former cheerleaders that every now and then something you say makes you go into cheerleading mode? This morning all I have been able to think of is "alright alright okay okay move eagles move!" Agghhh lol

I dreamed last night that I got a call asking me to come teach music at Wheeler...it was only going to be part time... but that was fine because I figured that's all I could handle in my *old* age. lol. The point of sharing this is that how much I miss the fact that Wheeler is the only school in Prentiss County at which I was never able to teach. Ahh, my alma mater!! Miss you.
