🏈 Our Border West Bucs football team will take on Stephen-Argyle here in Wheaton, this Friday, September 4 at 6pm!! *Note the time.

⭐The game will be broadcast as the Star Tribune's Game of the Week!
Fans can access the feed by visiting this link: https://varsity.startribune.com/sports/football/game/45740339

The feed should start about 60 minutes before game time. Non-subscribers will be prompted to subscribe when they click on the stream and will need to create an account if they don’t have one already, so we recommend visiting the website early so this doesn’t interfere with watching the start of the game. A basic Minnesota Star Tribune digital subscription is required to watch the stream on Strib Varsity. Existing Star Tribune subscribers do not need to create a new account; their login provides access to Strib Varsity.

👏🏻 Help us give a warm WELCOME to Haley Straw, our new elementary Special Education teacher! Haley had this to say:

"I’m Haley Straw - Elementary Special Education Teacher. I'm headin’ into year 8! 2 years in 1st grade, 5 years in 6-12 Special Education."

"My little family is me, my son, Noah, who will be in 5th grade, and our 3 year old mini golden doodle, Stuart! I graduated from WHS in 2012 and ended up back here in 2016! I have been the head coach of our Border West Speech team for the last 9 years. In my free time I like to read, go to concerts, do diamond art, and attend all of Noah’s activities! A fun fact about me is that I’m Mrs. D’s younger sister!"

"I’m looking forward to teaching at the 803 because I get to teach in the same building I attended AND work with some of the very same teachers I had growing up! I’m excited to become more involved in the school community and build relationships with our students!"

🍎 OPEN HOUSE will be held at Pearson Elementary on Wednesday, August 26 from 5:00 - 7:00pm. Come meet the teachers and drop off supplies!

🍎 OPEN HOUSE will be held at the Middle School and High School on Wednesday, August 26 from 5:30 - 7:30pm.

🌟6th grade orientation starts at 6:00 in the HS auditorium.
🌟7th grade and any new student orientation is 6:30 in the HS auditorium.

🌭 A hot dog meal will be provided at both schools by the Wheaton Area Chamber of Commerce!
