Third grade went on a walking field trip to the Lincoln Marsh! It was a perfect day of adventure and exploration. 🍃

We were thrilled to welcome Jacob Grant to Emerson for a special author and illustrator visit! He read his newest picture book, Turtle Slept In, and then led students in a directed drawing activity. Afterwards, students had the opportunity to get a book signed by him. A big thank you to Miss Krumme for bringing this experience to life for our students! 📚

📚 3rd Grade Meet the Author Night! 📚 Although the weather didn't cooperate, families had a wonderful time lining the halls of Emerson to listen to their child read their autobiography. We are so proud of all their hard work and creativity!

Mrs. Klein and Ms. Cameron's class made ice cream today! What a sweet way to wrap up the week! 🍨 😋

Yesterday we celebrated our incredible retirees and staff members reaching 15 years of service! 🎉 Congratulations to Mrs. Bostrom and Mrs. Graunke on your upcoming retirement. Wishing you both all the best in this exciting next chapter. A special shoutout to Mr. Lorch, Mrs. McCarthy, Mrs. Stoneberg, Mrs. Gebner, and Dr. Bagley on 15 years of dedicated service! Our 5th graders put science and math into action during their trip to Main Event’s Play Academy! Students explored how bowling conveyor systems move the gates and discovered how levers help power arcade games. Hands-on learning plus pizza made for a fun and memorable day! 🎳🍕
