It was a wonderful morning to be an Emerson Eagle! 💙💛 Books, Bikes and Bubbles brought our school community together for a morning of reading and reconnecting. One of the highlights was watching our incoming kindergarteners plant carrot seeds together. We can't wait to watch them grow and harvest them this fall! 🥕

Third grade went on a walking field trip to the Lincoln Marsh! It was a perfect day of adventure and exploration. 🍃

We were thrilled to welcome Jacob Grant to Emerson for a special author and illustrator visit! He read his newest picture book, Turtle Slept In, and then led students in a directed drawing activity. Afterwards, students had the opportunity to get a book signed by him. A big thank you to Miss Krumme for bringing this experience to life for our students! 📚

📚 3rd Grade Meet the Author Night! 📚 Although the weather didn't cooperate, families had a wonderful time lining the halls of Emerson to listen to their child read their autobiography. We are so proud of all their hard work and creativity!
