Our first all-school Mass of 2026-27! What a beautiful way to usher in a new school year together. Today, we offered special blessings to our new students, new faculty and staff and new President.

"The true wisdom you are going to experience in your years here at St. Francis will never be on a test," Religion Department Chair Kristen Ras told the students. "It is the wisdom you will gain in your character, your integrity and your discipline."

Our incredible Mission and Ministry Team (MMT) students spent the weekend at the Franciscan House of Prayer in Frankfort, using an overnight retreat to set the stage for the year ahead.

Their agenda included large and small group activities, prayer, Mass and affirmations. A bonfire also was part of the package, and we’re told all had a great time despite the mosquitos😀

The MMT is a student leadership group that helps with service, retreats, community building and prayer opportunities at SFHS.

Hat Update: Get one before they're gone!

In commemoration of the 25th anniversary of 9/11, we're selling limited-edition trucker-style hats, with proceeds going to a new scholarship for students whose parents or grandparents are or were a first responder OR served in the U.S. Armed Forces.

The hats feature a flag across the netted back and the St. Francis High School logo with the words "We Never Forget."

The cost is $25, with a limited quantity available.

What a day! More than 300 members (a record!) of our Spartan community hit the green Friday for the 37th annual Spartan Classic, raising a record (did we say that word already!?) $275,000.

We were blessed with perfect weather!

Thank you to all the sponsors, golfers, volunteers, committee members and others who made this a success!
