It was a mini reunion earlier this month for this group of Wheaton College Higher Education and Student Development (HESD) alumni!
The reunion, hosted by Vice President for Student Development Paul Chelsen ‘91 and HESD Program Director Olga Dietlin, took place at the Association of Christians in Student Development conference in Calvin. Great to see so many HESD graduates at this conference!

The Event Specialist develops and executes events for alumni and parents. This includes creating and implementing marketing plans for events, working closely with volunteers, and managing on-site event logistics. The Communications Coordinator supports our digital communications efforts with alumni and parents through email, web, and social media campaigns. This past Saturday, over 30 young alumni enjoyed beautiful weather and great food at Topgolf Naperville! Shoutout to one 2026 alumnus who cranked a shot over 210 yards to the back netting. To the rest of us who hit the turf more times than the ball (don't worry — all incriminating photos have been deleted), thanks for being such great sports.

Alumni, parents, and friends who live in the Boston area recently gathered in Burlington, MA for a morning with Wheaton College. Mark Hanchett ’66 said this about the event, “It was a relaxed morning of getting to know other alumni in the area with important updates on campus happenings and initiatives, wrapped up with a fabulous speaker highlighting the many fascinating holdings of the Wheaton archives.”
