Monthly training on a variety of topics geared toward education, professionalism, health and safety. A few years before I had my first son, I opened my own childcare business and have been serving families in my sur
rounding community since 1994. My philosophy of early childhood development is based on the standards established by the National Association for the Education of Young Children. Three important components of the program are:
• Understanding children's play and the caregiver’s role in guiding and facilitating cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development through play.
• Building relationships with children and families through dialogue, understanding, and interactive experiences.
• Encouraging children to make decisions while learning and to understand how their decisions affect others. BENEFITS OF FAMILY CHILD CARE
• Family environment
