Troop meeting #3. Today we celebrated our founder, Juliette Gordon Low’s birthday, which falls on Halloween. To celebrate our snack was chocolate milk and cupcakes!

Sara introduced the Kaper Chart to the girls and gave them responsibilities to do throughout our meeting (craft helper, etc). The girls also did an ice breaker to get to know their fellow Daisies! My Little Pony packets went home as that was part of the ice breaker. If your child completes the rest of the packet they will receive a patch! We brainstormed words that we like about ourselves or qualities we like to have on friends then created bookmarks with the words for our craft. The first year Daisies earned their Mari and Vi petals (Responsible for what I say and do and Be a sister to all) and everyone earned a fun Happy Birthday Patch to commemorate our founder’s birthday!
