Upper-Coast IPM Dedicated to agricultural research and integrated pest management practices in the Upper Gulf Coast

The mission of the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service is to provide quality, relevant outreach and continuing educational programs and services to the people of Texas. Extension educates Texans in the areas of agriculture, environmental stewardship, youth and adult life skills, human capital and leadership, and community economic development. The agency improves the lives of Texans through an ed

ucational process that uses research-based knowledge focused on issues and needs. The Integrated Pest Management program for Wharton, Jackson and Matagorda county strives to promote best management practices supported by unbiased research in agriculture. The summer field scouting program I run is supported by businesses in our community. I would like to thank the United Agricultural Cooperative Inc, Moses Gin, the South Texas Cotton and Grain Association Inc., Crop Guard Group, Wharton County Farm Bureau, and Bayer Crop science for their support of the Integrated Pest Management scouting program.
