Hey there! I'm Kristi Gibson, and I've been capturing moments through photography for 18 amazing years. I’ve created a cozy 3,000 square foot studio right next to my home in Wharton, TX, a charming little town with less than 10,000 folks! I've had the privilege of learning from some of the best in the business, and I'm always on the lookout for new training opportunities to help my photography adventure grow. Instead of feeling daunted by other photographers who seem more successful, I love reaching out to them, asking for their insights, and even investing in my growth through their guidance.
Back in 2018, I hit a rough patch — I was averaging about $700 per session, I had just completed my new studio, and my expenses were making it tough to stay afloat. Feeling overwhelmed, I decided to find a mentor. I flew to Florida to train with her, and we both had a moment of realization about the income I needed to achieve my dreams. It felt daunting and, honestly, I worried I might have made a mistake. That disappointment fueled my determination to prove her wrong.
I took her advice to heart, and you won’t believe it — my next client paid over $10,000 after their ordering session! Now, I’m averaging about $4,000 per session, I’ve regained my work-life balance, and I genuinely love what I do! So, why am I kicking off this page? Stay tuned for post #2, where I’ll share more!
