Southeast Island School District is accepting quotes for the Thorne Bay Housing Stairs, Ramp, & Awning Project, funded by an Alaska Housing Finance Corporation (AHFC) Rural Professional Housing Grant.

The project includes construction of code-compliant stairs, ADA-accessible ramps, and weather-rated awnings for three residential single-wide mobile homes in Thorne Bay.

• A turnkey bid (labor & materials), or
• A labor-only bid with a materials list for District purchase

📣 SISD ANNOUNCEMENT — 2A MIXED 6 VOLLEYBALL TEAM QUALIFIES FOR STATE!

We are excited to share some great news with our school community! Our 2A Mixed 6 Volleyball Team has officially qualified for the 2025 ASAA/First National Bank Alaska Mix Six/2A Volleyball State Championships in Anchorage.

Each year, our region sends two teams to the state tournament. Due to one of the qualifying teams becoming ineligible to travel, our team — which earned 3rd place at the regional conference — will now advance to compete at the state level. This is an incredible opportunity and a well-deserved reward for their hard work, dedication, and teamwork throughout the season.

The 2025 State Championships will be held:
