Founded in 1994, SSCA aims to provide a liber

al arts education with a distinctly Christian worldview. Our students are taught to maintain a high level of intellectual and spiritual integrity, equipping them to actively engage and apply God's truth in the world around them. SSCA is a diverse community serving over 248 students from different racial, economic, and Christian backgrounds. Currently our students represent more than 17 denominations, coming from over 88 different congregations, and live in 40 towns in the greater Boston area. SSCA seeks to teach the knowledge, skills, values, and behaviors necessary to be successful students, and challenges its students to become responsible and productive adults in a culturally diverse society. We expect students to strive for academic excellence, to develop their capacity as godly, thinking individuals, and to formulate sets of values by which to make ethical decisions and to facilitate interpersonal relationships.

🎓 The tassels have turned, and the journey continues!

Our Lower School Field Day was a huge success! Each grade proudly wore their team colors while teachers, staff, and parents all joined in on the fun. It was a wonderful day filled with laughter, teamwork, and school spirit. What a great way to end the school year!

Summer Adventures is a program that will be offered throughout the months of June & July! In this program, students will spend their days taking part in interactive indoor and outdoor activities, participating in crafts, Bible stories, and more, all while making new friends! Each week includes a special activity or project related to the weekly theme. This is an amazing place for your student to encounter exciting experiences full of adventure this summer!

Grades: Students ENTERING Preschool (must be potty trained) to Grade 5.

Week 1: June 15-18 (closed 6/19)
Week 2: June 22-26
(Closed week of June 29-July 3)
Week 3: July 6 - July 10
Week 4: July 13-July 17
Week 5: July 20-July 24

Our Spring Musical Cabaret was filled with incredible performances.

From We’re All In This Together to Seize the Day, our students brought so much heart, talent, and emotion to the stage through every song and performance. Centered around themes of hope, doubt, and perseverance, this year’s cabaret featured music from beloved musicals including Wicked, Newsies, The Greatest Showman, Dear Evan Hansen, and more. 🎶

We’re still smiling over the unforgettable performances and so proud of every student who shared their gifts with our school community! 🌟

It’s Teacher Appreciation Week, and our amazing teachers are celebrating in true creative style—Spirit Week!

Today’s theme? Anything But a Coffee Cup ☕🚫

And let’s just say… things got interesting.

Coffee showed up in water bottles, mason jars, soup mugs, spray bottles and test tubes. One teacher walked in proudly sipping from a blender bottle.

Because if there’s one thing we know about teachers, it’s this: they can make anything work—with Jesus, a whole lot of creativity, and yes… plenty of caffeine 😄

Here’s to the teachers who bring faith, joy, and heart into each day—no matter what their coffee comes in.

Three weeks later and we’re still smiling about interterm 😊

Our 7th & 8th grade students had an unforgettable Interterm experience in Washington, D.C.—walking through history, exploring our nation’s landmarks, and bringing their classroom learning to life in powerful ways.

From meaningful moments at monuments to hands-on learning in museums, this trip was more than just travel—it was growth, connection, and perspective.

6th Grade Interterm Adventures!

On Monday, students took a ferry into the city to visit the Aquarium and explore a variety of marine life.

Tuesday brought a creative day at the Fuller Art Museum, where students learned about contemporary art and created their own cyanograph and collagraph pieces.

On Wednesday, students enjoyed a 3-mile hike at Wompatuck State Park, spotting frog eggs, frogs, and even a pair of turtles along the way.

Learning, exploring, and making memories beyond the classroom!
