🚒 Learning About Fire Safety! 🚒

Last week, the Santuck Volunteer Fire Department came to visit our AIM students, and what a great learning experience it was!

Our students got to see the fire trucks, safety equipment, and gear up close and learned that it can cost $15,000–$20,000 to fully equip just one firefighter to enter a burning building!

They also learned that firefighters respond to much more than fires—including car accidents, falls, fallen trees, and other emergencies. They talked about having an exit plan, when to call 911, and what to do when help is needed.

A huge thank you to the Santuck Volunteer Fire Department for taking the time to teach and encourage our students! We are so grateful for the men and women who serve our community. ❤️🚒

🇺🇸 Remembering where we came from. Looking toward where God is leading.

There was something especially meaningful about chapel this morning.

Each week, these AIM alumni return to help lead worship alongside some of our current students—a beautiful reminder that what is planted in the lives of young people can continue long after they leave our classrooms.

And on September 11, a day when our nation pauses to remember, we’re reminded of the importance of legacy—remembering those who came before us, honoring what matters, and faithfully passing it on to the next generation.

Today we remember.
We worship.
And we are grateful for the opportunity to invest in a generation that will carry faith, hope, and truth forward. 🇺🇸💜

We will never forget.

Our Yearbook & Journalism students have been hard at work, and we’re excited to share the second edition of AIM Press!

This month’s theme is CHANGE — and our students explore it through a thought-provoking devotion, a spotlight on one of our high school teachers, and an in-depth look at one of the incredible staff members serving in the AIM Baby Unit.

🍎🥔🧅 Can your senses trick you?
Our 5th graders found out during a fun experiment with Mrs. Turman this week.

After reading about how our senses work together, students were blindfolded and held their noses while tasting a potato, onion, and apple. Without their sense of smell, it was surprisingly difficult to tell the foods apart!

But as soon as they unplugged their noses…they could taste the difference almost immediately! 🤯

Sometimes the best way to understand what you’re learning is to experience it for yourself! 💜

🪙🚤 How many pennies
can a clay boat hold?

Our 5th & 6th graders put science to the test in Mrs. Emily’s class while learning about matter and mass!

Students designed and built their own clay boats, then added pennies one at a time to see just how much weight their creations could hold before taking on water. 💦

We love seeing our students learn by doing—designing, testing, problem-solving…and having a whole lot of fun along the way! 💜

📚 The Bookmobile came to AIM! 💜

Our students enjoyed their very first visit from the Horseshoe Bend Regional Library Bookmobile today! They had so much fun climbing aboard, exploring the shelves, and picking out books to enjoy.

We love opportunities like this that make learning fun and encourage our students to become lifelong readers. 📖

A big thank you to the Bookmobile team for bringing the library right to our campus. We’re already looking forward to the next visit!

🔎 Some of our high school students became forensic scientists today!

During their Forensic Science lab, students explored anthropometry—the study of human body measurements—and learned how investigators can use those measurements to identify individuals and analyze evidence.

We love seeing our students learn through hands-on experiences that bring science to life! 🧪🕵️‍♀️

💜 CAN YOU HELP? 💜

We’re looking for a group of volunteers to help us paint this large wall in the high school at AIM Christian Academy!

Because of the height, we’ll need someone with access to a lift—and a few willing hands ready to work. This project would make such a huge difference in our space for our students!

If your church, business, small group, or organization would be willing to help, please comment below or send us a message. We would be so grateful! 💜⚔️
