Call Out for August 7, 2026
Good afternoon, Elmore County! This is Richard Dennis, Superintendent of Elmore County Public Schools. It’s that time again; the faculties and staff are ready for students and Monday the buses will start rolling. Visit your child’s school website for specific information and schedules as we begin the first semester of the 2026- 2027 school year.
The Transportation Department is sending an email with the bus transportation form to families who still need to complete it. Please take a few moments to review and submit the form to ensure we have the most up-to-date information for your student. If you have already completed this form in May, you should not receive this email. However, if you do receive it, please review the information to make sure everything is accurate. For students to continue to ride the bus to and from school an accurate address must be obtained by August 28.If the address listed on the form is incorrect, please contact your school's registrar so your information can be updated. Once the correction has been made, an updated form with the new address will be sent to you. Thank you for your attention to this matter and for helping us keep our student transportation records accurate. We appreciate your cooperation and look forward to serving your students this school year.Elmore County Student Handbooks can be found on the Elmore County Public School website at www.elmoreco.com to review student guidelines and the code of conduct. Changes are made periodically as policies change and communications will be sent out to make notification of the changes. Students will be receiving information packets that need to be completed and returned to school by the end of next week. The ECBOE revisited the dress code and allowed for certain clothing, specifically leggings, to be worn if covered properly. Please, review the dress code and the consequences which mandate a uniform attire on the third dress code violation. We are excited to see your children return to campus and are ready for a great year. Enjoy the weekend and get ready to start the school year!
