Our Elmore County 4-H Chick Chain visits were in full swing last week and this week, and we couldn't be more proud of these amazing 4-H'ers!

Over the past few days, we've had the opportunity to visit each participant and check on their flocks. It has been exciting to see how much these youth have learned and the excellent care they are providing their birds. From clean coops and fresh water to healthy chickens and knowledgeable exhibitors, these 4-H'ers are putting in the hard work every single day!

A huge thank you to all of our families for supporting these youth throughout the project. Your encouragement and dedication help make programs like Chick Chain a success.

We can't wait to see everyone at the Chick Chain Show & Auction next month! Keep up the great work, we're cheering you on every step of the way! ๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ€๐Ÿ”

Here's a sneak peak of some of the exciting clubs Elmore County 4-H is offering this year!

Club registration is NOT OPEN yet!

Registration will open Wednesday morning, August 19, following our 4-H Interest Meeting on Tuesday night August 18th .

In the meantime, we encourage all families to go ahead and enroll (or re-enroll) in 4-H Online at v2.4honline.com.

Even if your child participated in 4-H last year, they must be re-enrolled for the new 4-H year. Youth must be enrolled in 4-H Online before they can register for any clubs.

We can't wait to kick off another amazing year! Stay tuned for registration to open, and we'll see you Tuesday night at the Interest Meeting!

CHICK CHAIN SHOW & AUCTION โ€“ CENTRAL SET!

Itโ€™s almost time for the Chick Chain Show & Auction for the Central Set, bringing together Autauga, Bibb, Chilton, and Elmore Counties!

We are so excited to have 5 Elmore County 4-Hers competing in the show! These young people have worked hard all year on their Chick Chain projects, and we would love to see our community come out and support them!

Come out, cheer them on, and you might even go home with a new chicken (or two!)

And hereโ€™s another way you can support our 4-Hers: You may not want or need a chicken, can purchase a chicken and donate the proceeds back to your county 4-H program while allowing the 4-Her to keep their chicken! Itโ€™s a win-win!

Spread the word!
Come support your local 4-Hers!
Celebrate the hard work they have put into their projects!

We are so proud of our Elmore County 4-Hers and canโ€™t wait to cheer them on!

Elmore County Schools Open House Night!

A huge thank you to Wetumpka Elementary School, Millbrook Middle School, and Redland Middle School for welcoming 4-H tonight! These are just three of the amazing schools weโ€™ll be partnering with this year to bring hands-on learning, leadership, and fun opportunities to students across Elmore County.

A special thank you to my incredible team, Ms. Brenda and Mrs. Katrina, for tag-teaming the evening with Mrs. Courtney helping set up our tables, meeting families, and sharing all about what 4-H has to offer. I couldnโ€™t do it without you both!

Weโ€™re looking forward to an amazing year of making the best better!
