Dear parents and friends,

All good things must come to an end, and so begins our final week in operation. January 1st marked our 40th anniversary as a business, and it is with heavy heart that we announce that it will also be our last. Friday, January 31st, we will close our doors for the last time. This was a very difficult, bittersweet decision to make, but Heather and I are ready to begin the next chapter of our lives and we want to bring my mother and founder of Sesame Street Clubhouse, Cynthia Baker's, business/child care legacy to a close with as much dignity and respect as she deserves. Our building and establishment may come and go but may the loving and positive impact she's had on the children and families of Wetumpka live on forever. We are eternally grateful that you have entrusted us to take the best care of your children, and we can only hope that we've lived up to, or even exceeded expectations. We would like to thank the city of Wetumpka, as well as all the former parents, alumni, and (most) faculty for four decades of patronage, support, and loyalty. Thank you again for 40 years of love.

Good evening! We apologize for the late notice, however we just received word from Elmore County School Board that they have decided to close all schools tomorrow due to weather. We always follow with what the school system's plan of action is, therefore we will also be closed tomorrow. We hope all of our students and parents remain safe! (Please feel free to share this post and we will be contacting everyone.)

We will reopen tomorrow with normal hours of operation, from 7am - 6pm. Be careful, as we hear some roads are still a little icy! Stay warm and see you tomorrow 😊

Hi guys! We hope everyone is safe and warm! Unfortunately, due to icy road conditions, Elmore County Public Schools have decided to remain closed tomorrow, Thursday, January 18th. Our protocol is to normally follow what they do, so in the interest of keeping our students, parents, and staff safe, we will be closed as well and will open again on Friday morning at 7am. We hope this doesn't inconvenience anyone, but safety is our main priority. Thank you! (Please feel free to share as we want to make everyone aware!)
