Our last Staff Spotlight of the year shines on Mrs. Neseralla, and it is a very special one. After 11 years at Discovery and 28 years in education, Mrs. Neseralla is retiring, and while we are excited for her next adventure, she will be deeply missed by our Discovery family.
As our STEM Coach, Mrs. Neseralla has inspired curiosity, creativity, and problem-solving in countless students and staff members. Born and raised in Michigan, she has always embraced adventure—from making three skydiving jumps to becoming a skilled sailor who raced alongside some of the top women sailors in the world.
Inspired by a confident and driven business owner who was her mother's best friend, Mrs. Neseralla has shown us the value of believing in ourselves and pursuing our goals fearlessly. Her favorite quote, “I hate it when I don't get what I don't ask for,” perfectly reflects the courage and determination she has modeled throughout her career.
Whether sharing her love of STEM, or encouraging innovation, Mrs. Neseralla has left a lasting mark on Discovery. We thank her for her years of dedication, celebrate her incredible career, and wish her nothing but happiness in retirement.
