We are thrilled to announce that the CT Academy of Irish Music will host workshops with the amazing Kevin Crawford (of the trad supergroup Lúnasa) on Sunday, May 1 at our location in Wethersfield, CT!

Kevin will teach two workshops, one for intermediate/advanced flute players (11:15-12:45), and one for all melody players - flute, whistle, fiddle, mandolin, banjo, concertina, accordion, etc. (1:15-2:45).

So sad to hear of the passing of legendary concertina player Chris Droney of Clare. He was a friend and musical inspiration to many and here is our very own Mary Grace O'Neill playing flute on stage with her great uncle Chris and all the Droney family at the MORglor Award in 2018. Rest in peace and blessings to the Droney family.
