🍎 Ten Apples Up on Top! 🍎

After reading Ten Apples Up on Top! by Dr. Seuss, we cut a pool noodle into pieces and had fun trying to stack apples on top! 🍎

We practiced counting, balancing, and problem-solving while having fun!

🍎 Apple Exploration: Apple Explosion! 💥
We explored what happens when baking soda and vinegar meet! 🫧

You’ll need:

* Whole apples
* Baking soda — about 2–3 tablespoons per apple
* Dish soap — 1 teaspoon
* Food coloring — a few drops
* Vinegar — about ¼ cup
* A tray or baking pan

Directions:

1. Cut the top off each apple and scrape out the inside, leaving the apple walls intact.
2. Place the hollow apple on a tray.
3. Add baking soda, dish soap, and a few drops of food coloring.
4. Let the children take turns pouring in the vinegar.
5. Watch the bubbly apple explosion! 🍎🫧💥

For Pre-K, you can call it “Sometimes All You Need Is an Apple!” 🍎❤️

💙💙 Our Pre-K friends are wearing blue! 💙💙

We wore blue to remind everyone that kindness matters! We are learning to use kind words, help our friends, include everyone, and treat others with gentle hearts. 🥰

We can all be kind, caring, and good friends! 🌈💙
