Grant) in an underserved school district to graduate and pursue a higher education We help students in an underserved school district succeed. Every week, we go to Grant High School and tutor students one-on-one in math, english-- whatever they need. Transportation is provided, so all we need is you and your enthusiasm! PACT's goal is to provide services and support for students striving to gradua
te high school, as well as to provide resources for and encourage them to pursue a higher education. To do that, we operate on several fronts: weekly tutoring sessions, mentorship, and workshops. We take them on field trips to zoos and museums, help them with their college applications (deadlines, essays, etc.), fundraise for scholarships, and give them tours of UC campuses. Because many face economic hardship, we team up with the Grant College and Career Center to create financial aid workshops providing information and resources to ensure these students may take advantage of any opportunities they are given.
