Today we have a film team from WCVB TV's Chronicle capturing footage of the High School's J-Term courses -- a program where students dive into unique, immersive learning experiences. They followed a few courses including "The Great J-Term Bake-off", "Become a Certified SCUBA Diver", and "So You Think You Can Rock?" with the story to air in the fall! Chronicle on WCVB TV (ABC/Hearst) 🎥

Come see the Westwood High School Theatre for Young Audiences production of The Lion King! This is a short 45-minute musical that follows Simba through his story of exile and journey to claim his rightful place as king. Performances will take place at the Westwood High School Courtyard June 11, 12, and 13 at 5:30PM. Westwood faculty and staff members will receive a complimentary ticket. Yesterday we honored staff members who are celebrating milestone years of service with the Westwood Public Schools. We had dozens of staff celebrating 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30 years with WPS -- wow! We also recognized 2026 retirees, who collectively dedicated 250 years of service to Westwood. Congratulations and THANK YOU to all of our milestone staff members and retirees for your hard work, dedication and positive impact on the WPS community.
