Yesterday, our Mildred Harris Bears painted a special keepsake of our school. Thank you Creative Designs by Maggio and Lori Pittman for making this possible and giving our students a memento of this chapter in their lives! ❤️

JPRD held an after school soccer program for our heroes at the Bridge City Playground. Every Tuesday and Thursday brought even more joy to about 50 of our students that participated in the program. It was a hit! We have some truly talented kids! Thank you, JPRD and the dedicated coaches. You’ve made such a positive impact on our community!

Come cheer on our Mildred Harris students! 💃🕺

Jefferson Parish Schools presents the 16th Annual Martin Marino Dance Challenge competition. The following schools are participating this year: Hazel Park, Phoebe Hearst, St. Pierre Academy, Moscona, Harahan, Terrytown, Paul Solis, Mildred Harris, Matas, Boudreaux, Greenlawn Terrace, Gretna Academy, Bissonet, Jefferson and Green Park.

Students will perform salsa, waltz, tango, and swing. Alongside adult couple and team competitions, the event will also feature professional performances and some special acts.

The student ballroom dance competition will take place on April 12 at 6 p.m. at the Pontchartrain Center located at 4545 Williams Blvd. in Kenner. This is a free event, including parking.
