🇺🇸✨ Celebrating ESY: Fun, Freedom & Fireworks! 🎆

What better way to wrap up an incredible ESY program than by celebrating with our ADS families! ❤️🤍💙

Our 250th Anniversary of America Family Event gave families the opportunity to visit classrooms and see firsthand all of the amazing things our students learned, created, and experienced throughout ESY. From art projects and historical facts to patriotic recipes and hands-on activities, our students proudly showcased their hard work and learning! 🎨📚🧁

ESY 2026 was filled with memorable moments from festive spirit days and engaging classroom activities to special events that brought our entire school community together. 🇺🇸 Students explored American history and traditions while building meaningful skills, expressing their creativity, and most importantly having FUN! 🎉

A huge thank you to our incredible students, families, and staff for making this ESY one to remember! We are so proud of everything our students accomplished and grateful for the memories we made together. ❤️🦋💙

Tie-Dye in the USA ❤️🤍💙💛💜🩵💚🧡
This week our students and staff wore their best tie-dye apparel!

Our elementary students in Room 21 prepared for this special occasion and worked with OT to create tie-dye shirts with their favorite paint colors.

Wonderful job everyone! has such a colorful school spirit! 🎨

Week 5 of ESY came to a memorable close with Bring Your Child to Work Day at ADS and our Stars & Stripes Patriotic Dance Party! 🎉🇺🇸🌟

Staff members’ children and families were invited to spend the day at Archbishop Damiano School, giving them a special opportunity to connect with our school community and see the meaningful work that happens each day. 🦋💙

In the afternoon, everyone danced, celebrated, and showed off their patriotic spirit in red, white, & blue as we continued our ESY celebration of America’s 250th anniversary! ❤️🤍💙

🍑 August is National Peach Month, and our students celebrated by harvesting fresh peaches from the Archbishop Damiano School garden!

🍅Along with peaches, they also picked ripe tomatoes they helped grow through lessons in their Daily Living Skills class where students learn how to plant and care for fruits and vegetables and practice responsibility, patience, following directions, teamwork, and fine motor skills. Great job everyone! 🤗

Sibling Group Day at ADS 🌟💙🦋

Yesterday we had the pleasure of welcoming our students’ siblings to Archbishop Damiano School for a day of connection, learning, and fun!

Our special guests brought plenty of joy and smiles as they visited classrooms, participated in engaging activities alongside our students, and helped deliver frozen treats to every classroom.

Sibling Group Day provides a meaningful opportunity for brothers and sisters to better understand their sibling’s school experience, celebrate their achievements, and see firsthand the supportive, inclusive environment where our students learn and thrive each day.
