🚨 HOLMES COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT UPDATE 🚨

As we continue preparing for the potential impacts of the storm, sandbags and tarps are now available at the Holmes County Emergency Management Office for residents who may need them. Our office is located at 1001 E Hwy 90, directly behind the newly constructed EMS building.

We also have a load of water, MREs, additional tarps, and other emergency supplies on the way. We will continue working to get resources into Holmes County and make them available to our citizens as they arrive.

Please don’t wait until the last minute to prepare. If you need supplies, take advantage of what is available now and make sure you and your family are ready.

Stay safe, stay weather aware, and continue to monitor official Holmes County updates.

⚡🚚 Learning About Electrical Safety at Chipley Head Start! 🚚⚡

A big THANK YOU to West Florida Electric Cooperative for visiting our Chipley Head Start students! Our children were so excited to see the electric truck and learn more about the important work electric crews do in our community. 💡😊

A special thank you to Troy Holley and Terrell Culbreth for their wonderful presentation and for teaching our children about electrical and power line safety. The children had the opportunity to learn important safety lessons in a fun and age-appropriate way! ⚡🦺

We are grateful for community partners who take the time to invest in our children and help make learning come alive outside the classroom. Thank you for helping our little learners stay safe, smart, and informed! 💙
