To our other teachers, that encouraged to go forward, rooted for this to happen, prepared us to take the plunge out of the "safe nest" - Lynne Shipman-Marotta, Cathy Krenicky, Mike Miller, Carole Poffinbarger, Rouel Cazanijian and the other teachers that we were so lucky learn with in CT or online,
To every attendee that made the Residential so rich, fun and connected. To everyone that helped my tween get deeper skills, work on posture, embody the self care exercises and to have such amazing role models - both how to be professional yet easy going and fun while learning, practicing, connecting,
To families that took care of everything while we were taking this important step,
To those in our communities who held the space and were excited for us even though they could not join (we missed you all!),
To the Highest that somehow made things possible and keeps putting together the most incredible people with this modality.
It is really quite a miracle how everything worked out and I am just in awe.

The 2026 Maine Residential had just ended…and everyone had left the room to go outside for our class photo.
I took a second and stepped back into what had been our classroom for a week- nothing remarkable at first glance- just tables that had held snacks, a circle of chairs, therapy tables set up in an uneven row…light streaming in through high windows and the sshhhh of air conditioning.
But the mood, that collective, soulful mood… still palpable and full… vibrating an otherwise ordinary space..,
energizing yet soothing, rich with the wonder and excitement of what each of us had moved beyond and what we were taking with.
