The Learning Community Day School

The Learning Community Day School Celebrating 50 Years of Excellence! At the Learning Community we teach our children to apply knowledge rather than simply acquire it.

The Learning Community Day School is a non-profit, non-discriminatory, independent school, licensed by the Connecticut State Department of Public Health Services and accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children. We help our children learn through discovery and guided teaching. We encourage our children’s natural curiosity about the world and all it has to offer. We promote a climate of mutual respect, inquiry, and cooperation for our children, staff and parents.

Welcome Back to School!! We have been busy over the Summer preparing for our families to return. Kelly’s class is enjoying the updated outside playground. With a low student to teacher ratio, our friends can learn to appreciate both teachers and peers as individuals.
