Insect texts!
We looked at informational texts about bugs and insects!! We learned that insects have 6 legs, and 3 parts to their bodies! The head, thorax, and abdomen.

Then, we read “Papilio”, a book brought in by one of our students! It is a story about a hungry caterpillar that goes on an adventure to transform into a beautiful butterfly, and makes a great friend along the way!

Hi everyone 👋 - My name is Jennifer and I took over ownership of Codimonk Nursery School in Westport last summer. I am so excited to share that we are offering a summer program this year and are enrolling for preschool and pre-k for the fall 2026 school year with extended hours!

Flexible Weekly Registration

Ages: 2.9–6 years old

Dates: June 15 – July 31
(No program the week of June 29 – July 3 in observance of the Fourth of July holiday)

Families can register by the week, making it easy to plan your summer around vacations and schedules.
