We will be attempting to swap our our transmitter at KGHI 91.1 sometime today. This will also affect the broadcast from KGHE 89.1. With luck, the down time should be minimal, and we should be back up within a few minutes. Today is Friday September 2, 2022, and we're hopeful to be down and back up by 11:00 am

Wednesday at 4:00 PM on the Writers Voice. Host Francesca Rheannon interviews Dolen Perkins-Valdez abour her novel, "Take My Hand." It is based on a famous case accusing the federal government of forced sterilization of poor and minority women which inspires a novel about reproductive justice.
Later in the program Francesca plays an excerpt from a 2021 interview of Honoree Fanonne Jeffers about her novel "The Love Songs of W.E.B. DuBois.
