For those of you who wanted the sign on our float to read "Class of 1984- the class that didn't accomplish anything" - I give you this- we won 1st place at the parade for our float! Oh yeah- beat the class of 1962, ;63 and 64's float! So what do you think now boys (Dan Benzel, Greg Blalock and Jeff Elder)!

Thank you so much to all of those who made it to the reunion. We had a fantastic time. And for those of you who couldn't join us, we missed you and talked about you, but in a good way! Thanks to Lisa Youncs for driving the float and to Mark and Lisa for hosting us all last night, and to everyone who brought salads/desserts/etc.

We were a pretty close knit class and this weekend shows that hasn't changed. It was so good to catch up with everyone and laugh about the stupid stuff we did way back when, even if we can't remember half of what that was!

Love you all and safe travels to those heading home today. Feel free to post those pictures here- but only flattering ones that don't show wrinkles or extra poundage! :)

Calls will be going out this week for help, but just a heads up- if you live close and are coming to the BBQ, please bring a big salad to share. Any kind, your choice. If you are coming from out of town, if you could bring cookies, brownies, etc., something that you can buy at the store and not have to worry about making. Also, we are in need of paper plates, utensils and napkins. If you could, please let me know on here what you are bringing, that way I won't have to bug you personally!

Not long now before our reunion. Looking forward to seeing you all!

We line up at the High School on Saturday morning at 8 am for the parade. After the parade we will do a tour of the school for those of you who are interested in walking down those halls again. BBQ is at 2 pm at the Weston Park, and Saturday night is open, but we were thinking the Longbranch at 8. Nothing like Karaoke at the Longbranch!

If you are in town Friday night and are bored, come on over to my house (Kim) at 136 E Darwin. Good beer on tap and need help drinking it!

Reunion is less than a month away! Looking forward to seeing you all again and catching up on the last 30 years. We need to have a meeting to finalize some details. Next week would be good- please let me know if there is a day or time that works best. I'd like to have all of the "locals" at this meeting if possible. Meet at my house- I'll even provide the drinks and snacks if that will tempt you (new keg of Prodigal Son Beer Named Sue on tap!) Let me know on here or give me a call 566-9185. - Kim

Thank you Kim Curtis for the graduation photo! If you have any photos you would like to share please get them to us! These could be more graduation photos or anything from our school years. Class photos are fun but how about memories from band trips, 8th grade field trip, sports....Come on everyone! Let's start this trip down memory lane!!!

Class of '84, are you all ready for some fun!!! We met today for our first planning meeting. There were 3 of us present. Kim Curtis, Melinda Stroud and Stacey Beaver. We decided to have the reunion on Caledonian Weekend. This is the weekend of July 12-13 2014. We will have a float for the parade. The highschool has had lots of change since 1984 so we thought we would have a tour of the school to get those memories flowing. We are planning to have a bar-b-q in the Weston park in the afternoon which will be a family event. Bring your kids and grandkids. We thought that anyone who wants to can meet up at the Longbranch later in the evening. I hope this sounds fun to everyone! We haven't planned anything for Sunday but we could do breakfast at the Longbranch or something if people want to. We are meeting again on Feb 9 at 3:00 at Kim's house. I hope to have a few more there. We need everyone's input to make this an awesome reunion!
