Samantha checked into the Cleveland Clinic in Weston, Florida. She is being EEG video monitored for several days to get info about her seizures, meds and if she is a surgery candidate.

Erica Nicole Pegues asked if anyone has a daughter that is around age 13 dealing with Jeavons. Sadly, her daughter is being bullied at school for her eye flutter and would like to talk to some other parents that are maybe dealing with this issue.

I just want to share that the past week was very hard for my daughter. She suffered a grand mal seizure due to lack of sleep. It was the first night with a new roommate and she woke her up. I was on the phone when it happened and luckily I recognized what was happening right away and could get to her within a few minutes. She has never had a grand mal this severe and has not had one for over two years.
Please never forget that seizures can happen anytime and anyplace. I appreciate all the support and info that everyone shares here. It makes my remember why I started this site a decade ago.
