Our third grade Lions had a great day exploring the Marjory Stoneman Douglas Key Biscayne Nature Center! Students learned about coastal ecosystems through a hands-on touch tank experience, where they examined local marine life and even held sea stars, sea urchins, sea cucumbers, and sea snails. They also explored the island’s unique plants and trees, discovered how they help protect coastal habitats, and learned about sea turtle nesting grounds and the importance of seagrass ecosystems. The students asked great questions, shared thoughtful observations, and came away with lots of new knowledge about Florida’s coastal environment.

The Lion Legacy Walk is one of Sagemont Prep’s most meaningful traditions. A moment that connects generations of Lions and reminds us of the strong community and legacy that have defined our school for years.

Today, the Class of 2026 walked the halls of both the lower and upper campus one final time as Sagemont Prep Lions, celebrated by students, faculty, families, and the community that has supported them throughout their journey.

Congratulations to our seniors. Your story will always be part of Sagemont Prep.
