Welcome HOME to TDD, THE place to be in Jewish Southwest Broward!

08/14/2026

As summer winds down and a new year begins, Rabbi Zive reminds us that there’s something exciting about beginning again.

School is back, calendars are filling up, and life is getting busy. So what are we bringing with us from summer? The friendships. The joy. The laughter. The willingness to try something new.

This weekend, we’re bringing that spirit HOME. Join us for Shabbat+, Havdallah on the Rocks, and our Welcome HOME Brunch & Event as we reconnect, celebrate, and begin this new season together.

Don’t forget to represent your Jewish summer camp with your shirt tonight!

Some friendships begin with a conversation after services.

Others begin while watching your children grow together.

Before long, they’re the people celebrating your joys, lifting you through life’s challenges, and becoming part of your story.

At Temple Dor Dorim, community isn’t something we talk about. It’s something we live.

Rosh Hashanah: September 11–12
Yom Kippur: September 20–21

Join us for Shabbat services Fridays, at 6:30 PM, & register for High Holy Day Services today!

As summer begins to fade into a new season, Rabbi Bryan Zive reminds us that this moment is our own Havdallah, a time of transition, possibility, and new beginnings.

Take a moment to explore this year’s Program Guide, discover something new, and make plans to be part of a community filled with Holy Moments, Open Arms, Meaningful Connections, and Engaging Community.

Join us next weekend & don’t forget to register for Welcome HOME Weekend, August 14–16, as together we begin an exciting new year, B’chol L’vav’cha: With All Your Heart.

Jewish learning should spark curiosity, build confidence, and create lifelong memories.

At Temple Dor Dorim, our students don’t just learn about Judaism. They experience it through creative Chuggim (electives), hands-on learning, friendships, traditions, and unforgettable moments that help them discover what being Jewish means to them.

When families join TDD, they’re joining a community that grows alongside them.

Looking for a place where your family can learn, connect, and belong? We’d love to welcome you HOME.

Listen as Rabbi Zive shares with us the value attending Jewish camp every summer and how it truly connects us across the nation. From bringing our communities to camp and bringing the camp community back home, it gives all our young Jewish learners a chance to see who we truly are as a whole.

Don’t forget to wear your camp shirt at Shabbat+ on August 14th, & register for Welcome HOME Weekend August 14-16th!

Our TDD group at URJ Camp Coleman is having an incredible time! As time at camp winds down for the summer, know that these kids (along with Rabbi Zive and Jamie) are coming home with their Jewish identities developed, and memories to last a lifetime! (Well, at least until next summer!)

At Temple Dor Dorim, we truly believe in the power and positive influence of Jewish camp. We can’t wait to celebrate every TDD kid who went to Jewish Summer Camp this year at our August Shabbat+ on August 14. Don’t forget to wear your camp shirts!

Listen as Rabbi Zive reminds us that sometimes the deepest connections don’t come from perfect words, they come from shared laughter.

This week, as we explore Parashat V’etchanan, we’re reminded that even Moses, pleading 515 times, didn’t stop asking, questioning, and showing up with his whole self. Faith isn’t always neat or quiet; sometimes it’s persistent, sometimes it’s messy, and sometimes it’s even funny.
