After much soul searching I've decided to return to art.

This time its all on my terms, doing what I desire. I am exploring a new medium that I enjoy far more than painting with paint, and that is digital art using a tablet. It will allow me to express myself in an entirely new way, combining my writing with my artwork.

Much of my artwork that is for sale can be found at Fine Art America where you can find my artwork, select and purchase it in many different sizes as a print. I will also be making my art available as hand signed limited edition prints on my new website, www.the-artist-within.com.

So much change on the horizon for me as my new book, "The Alchemy of Purpose" will be available at the beginning of the new year. Stay tuned for more art to come as well. Feel free to contact me if you are interested in purchasing any of my work as prints. Thanks!

This room shows a space theme. It has the Earth, moon and all the other planets spanning the entire wall. It also has a few galaxies, nebulae and a bit of the Milky Way.

The mural is also painted over with glow in the dark paint (mostly the stars, galaxies and planets). The Moon is a Crescent Moon with glow in the dark paint (as are Mercury and Venus). The Space Shuttle's windows are also painted with glow in the dark paint so it looks like light emanating through them.

This is the work I did for the Mint Cafe in downtown Wausau. They were remodeling and uncovered an old print of a painting that was found under drywall and wallpaper. It had been there since the late 1800's or early 1900's. They never knew it was there until they pulled off the paper and drywall. They have photos of the inside of the Cafe that show it there. It was glued to the wall, not hung like a painting so no one knew.

The hired me to restore it. It was badly damaged especially along the top quarter of it where the wallpaper was glued to it. Surprisingly, it wasn't damaged as much as it could have been.

I glued pieces of the painting back into the painting, plastered it to smooth it out and gently sanded it all back to the smooth surface and then began painting it.

The entire room, including the ceiling, is being painted in murals of the movie Finding Nemo.
