House 6C Students made a blackout poetry display in Mrs. Kostyn’s Language Arts class! Blackout Poetry is a form of found poetry. Students read through a page of text, selected words that caught their interest, and created new meaning in poem form! We repurposed old books and created designs based on the poem’s theme.

Fun 6C house activity to help kids get to know each other! Here’s a snap shot of Back to School iPad BINGO!

[09/05/20]   We cannot begin to describe how spectacular your children have been this week! We have seen unparalleled respectful behavior, kindness, patience, and grace as they follow all of the new rules and expectations so we can keep everyone healthy, in school and hopefully start rotating. They patiently wait for teachers to rotate, set up technology each period, stay in one room, and the list goes on. They wear their masks like total troopers and rarely complain. They wash their hands, try to follow the social distancing rules and exhibit so much self control. We are so very proud of our students and how they have been handling this crazy, strange, new school year. You should be so proud of your kids! We can't wait to see them again next week!
