Come learn from our farmers and take home a part of last year's education garden!

It's all about seeds this week on the farm! The education department is sorting new seeds for planting next season, and older seeds for use in craft projects. Come join us at the Lynnfield Library on Monday 1/7 for a program about seeds and seed saving, and take home the beginnings of your own garden! https://conta.cc/3qZKQx8

Seed saving is an important part of our fall education programs, allowing us to save money while regrowing our favorite varieties! Most of the education garden is planted with heirloom varieties, meaning we can rely on the next generation's plants to be as good as their parents.

Students will care for the crops in their own farmer field, which they will then harvest and use themselves. They also get exclusive access to the behind the scenes workings of the farm, care for farm animals, and participate in land stewardship projects.
