Just like that our July camp series has come to a close. We wrapped up the ZI3 camps with Canine Creations! This camp gave back to the community while having fun too. Students were able to visit Canine Sports Unlimited and The Muddy Dog Grooming Salon for a dog training and grooming demonstration. They also made natural dog treats to sell to benefit Diamond in the Ruff - making shelter dogs more adoptable through a training program. Besides dog treats, we made sunset paw print paintings, dog water bottles and engineered gigantic luxury dog houses for a few stuffed pups.

Thank you everyone who attended and supported the camps. It was a great summer and we hope to see you in October for our Halloween Family Night!

Our ZI3 Bulldog Culinary camp has come to a close. The students really took ownership of this camp and made us proud! Each day had a secret main ingredient that had to be enhanced with choices from a pantry of sweet or savory additions. On the final day, students and staff from the iCan Camp sampled and voted for their favorite dish. The bacon, cheddar, ranch dip from the Banana Ballers team tied with the B.Lizard team’s cinnamon sugar monkey bread! A honorable mention goes to lil Riggies Kitchen for their savory pizza monkey bread! Everyone did a great job and are already requesting foods to be the secret ingredient next year. Great job everyone!

We had a great time in Maker Camp last week that included a trip to make lavender wreaths at Spring Creek Lavender! Students enjoyed the wreath making, butterfly house and of course visiting with the baby goats. This week starts our culinary adventure. Who will be the top chef? Stay tuned…

Summer Camp Update – Thursday, July 16

Due to the projected air quality, Summer Camp at the Primary School Playground has been cancelled for Thursday, July 16.

✅ The indoor ZI3 Maker Camp will continue as scheduled and will run at its normal time.

Our first week of camp has come to a close and what a wonderful experience it was! We learned about science and soared through a real hot air balloon, technology and flew drones/gliders/solar balloon, engineering and built a tissue paper balloon, art and created a version of Van Gogh’s Starry Starry Night.
