If movement causes migraines… then why are my clients finally getting relief after they started moving?
If movement is so dangerous for people with migraines…
Then why do my clients feel more freedom and less pain after they start moving again?
Let me explain.
After working with hundreds of clients—many of whom were told to “just rest” or “avoid exercise” to avoid triggering migraines—I realized we’ve been missing a critical piece of the puzzle.
🚫 The problem isn’t the movement.
⚠️ It’s the state your nervous system is in before the movement begins.
Most people live stuck in fight-or-flight.
Add movement on top of that? It feels like too much.
So they stop moving.
And their symptoms get worse.
But here’s the truth...
✅ The right movement, done at the right time, in the right state, is one of the most powerful migraine-relief tools you have.
Why? Because movement:
Acts as a nervous system reset
Increases blood flow to the brain
Boosts natural pain-relieving chemicals
Improves posture, mobility, and muscle stability that directly affect the neck and shoulders (a big trigger zone for migraineurs)
💥 I’ve had clients who were afraid to walk or stretch...
But once we paired gentle mobility + breathwork to calm their system first, then added the right strength or stability movements… their headaches started fading.
They didn’t need more rest.
They needed the right dose of movement with the right reset before it.
So here’s the missing link:
👉 It’s not about avoiding movement.
It’s about retraining your brain and nervous system so movement becomes your medicine.
🧠 Key takeaway:
If you’re living with migraines, movement isn’t the enemy.
It may be your way out.
👇 Now I want to hear from you:
Let’s open the conversation. What’s your relationship with movement like since dealing with migraines & headaches?

Migraines follow a pattern. And when you recognize it—you regain your power.
Before the pain shows up… your body’s already talking to you.
Neck stiffness. Food cravings. Brain fog. Yawning.
These are not random. These are prodrome signs—your body’s early warnings.
And after the migraine? That groggy, foggy feeling?
That’s postdrome—and it matters just as much.
Most people only address the pain. But the real solution is learning to read all 5 stages of a migraine—and taking action at the right time.
🧠 Understanding the full cycle changes everything.
I’ve created a simple cheat sheet to help you map your migraines and learn when to rest, reset, and reclaim your energy.
