Crossroads Preschool offers the half-day Christian education that will give your 2-5 yr old the skills they need to succeed.
The role of Crossroads Christian Preschool is to foster a learning environment designed to encourage children to reach their God given potential. Our program has been put into practice with educational and Christian instruction that is age appropriate and uses a variety of strategies and materials. The Creative Curriculum from Teaching Strategies is used as the framework in which our teachers plan and implement a content-rich program approved by the Maryland State Department of Education. Children will be provided with hands-on opportunities that have a positive impact on their success.
Mission: Inspiring preschool students to love God, others and self through practiving core virtues and enriching their Christ-centered education.

Ashley and I wanted to send a huge THANK YOU out all the parent, teacher, and board member volunteers that committed to helping out the 2018 Secret Santa Shoppe. Whether you donated gift bags, refreshments, gifts or set up, cleaned up, and/or worked or just bought a ticket and came! We could NEVER have done this without your support.
We also want to give a huge shoutout to Bob Henderson and his wife Kat, Rachel Mettee from RLM Photography, Tony Burke and Lindsey Chaffman. These wonderful people donated their time of absolutely no charge to provide families with free digital photos and serve as Santa, Mrs. Claus, THE Grinch and Cindy Lou Who! Without their generosity and time commitment we could never have made this event happen. Please consider supporting small businesses like RLM Photography when you are thinking of your photography needs. Not only does she do a wonderful job, but she gives back in huge ways to our community. Check out her website: https://photobyrlm.myportfolio.com/and page: https://www.facebook.com/photobyrlm/ As a result of everyone's hard work our school raised $1504.00. The proceeds of this event will help purchase items off our teachers wish lists for their classrooms as well as help with scholarships and every day needs of the school.
Thank you again. We hope you have a wonderful Christmas and look forward to all the great things that await all of us in 2019!

Help Ms. Michelle and WUMC by donating blood tomorrow at their Fall Blood Drive!
What are you thankful for today?
Our teachers work so hard to meet our little learners' needs!
Not only did the teachers get pied but each class got to have an awesome pizza party. We are so proud of the kids for exceeding the Joe Corbi's goal by over $1,000.
As promised by our staff if we reached our Joe Corbi's fundraising goal they would get pied in their faces by the top sellers of each class. The kids were all so sweet with the teachers and kept the mess to a minimum.
A good reminder on days like today.
A good day to remember these words from Mister Rogers, who called the Pittsburgh neighborhood of Squirrel Hill home.
